FRPP water trap is a type of drainage fitting.

FRPP is the English abbreviation for Fiber-Reinforced Polypropylene. The FRPP trap is a type of drainage fitting, primarily used to prevent odors, harmful gases, and insects from entering indoor spaces by utilizing the water seal within the trap. Its working principle involves forming a bend in the piping system that retains a certain height of water column (usually 50 - 100mm), which serves as a seal.

Material Characteristics:

FRPP material has good corrosion resistance. It can withstand the erosion of various chemical substances, such as the acidic and alkaline components in domestic sewage and mild corrosion from some industrial wastewater. This allows it to maintain good performance in various drainage environments and have a long service life.
This material also has high strength and toughness. Compared to traditional cast iron traps, FRPP traps are lighter, making them easier to install and transport. For example, during construction, workers can more easily move them to the installation location, and large lifting equipment is not required for installation.
